Our work across three pillars
The UN Youth Office works across the three pillars of the United Nations — sustainable development, peace and security, and human rights — to advance the meaningful participation and agency of diverse young people in governance and decision-making processes. Through its engagement across intergovernmental and UN system processes, the Office promotes a more inclusive and coordinated approach to youth participation, supporting young people as partners and agents of change in advancing peace, sustainable development, and human rights at all levels.
