Gustavo Gabriel Archuby is a Computer Analyst from the School of Computer Science, National University of La Plata (UNLP). He currently serves as Director of Information Technology at the School of Humanities and Education Sciences (FaHCE ¨C UNLP), and as Lecturer and Faculty Member in the Library and Information Science Program at FaHCE. He is also a member of the Academic Council of FaHCE ¨C UNLP.
His professional experience includes consulting for ARSAT, with a focus on training and developing artificial intelligence platforms on local infrastructures and free software. He was in charge of the IT area of the project ¡°Strengthening the Capacities of Provincial Archives¡± (2022-2024), coordinated by the Federal Council of Investments, the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires, and UNLP. Between 2004 and 2014, he served as consultant for the installation and support of CLACSO¡¯s Virtual Library.
Is also engaged in research projects such as ¡°The Representation of Territory in Scientific Discourse¡± (2023¨C2026, UNLP¨CCONICET) and the development of an AI-based technological tool for academic literacy (2023¨C2026, UNLP¨CCONICET). In the field of teaching, he has organized and lectured in seminars such as ¡°Introduction to Generative Artificial Intelligence in Library and Information Science¡± (2025, FaHCE ¨C UNLP), ¡°Fundamentals of Language Models and Artificial Intelligence Platforms¡± (2025, Postgraduate Diploma on AI and Education, FaHCE ¨C UNLP), and ¡°Open Science: Conceptualizations and Tools¡± (2023, UNLP). He is currently responsible for the Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Education (2025, FaHCE ¨C UNLP).
